Eleven Oscars, over two billion USD revenues and ranked second on the list of box office hits in the cinema history – it is the balance of gains of James Cameron’s “Titanic” to the music by the American composer James Horner. On the 20th anniversary of the premiere of this famous superproduction, ”Titanic Live” in concert will be heard at the TAURON Arena Krakow at the finale of the jubilee round of the Film Music Festival in Krakow.

Four festival days filled with meetings with authors, debuts, and concerts, as well as reading and commenting poetry. On the 8th – 11th of June this year, Krakow is once again slated to become the world’s capital of poetry, providing an opportunity to meet the most prominent Polish artists, including Adam Zagajewski, Ewa Lipska, Anna Piwkowska, Marcin Świetlicki, as well as guests from three continents, such as: Antjie Krog (South Africa), Linn Hansén (Sweden), Evelyn Schlag (Austria), Petr Hruška (Czech Republic), Joachim Sartorius (Germany) and Robert Pinsky (USA). Krzysztof Siwczyk, a poet and a literary critic, serves the role of an artistic director of the Festival.

The most beautiful film music composed by Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man and Nocturnal Animals), Howard Shore, who returns to the Festival with his music composed for The Lord of the Rings, the beloved score for Star Wars by John Williams, two mega-productions: Neverending Story and Titanic with live music, as well as a giant birthday dancefloor with the legendary DJ and Academy Award-winning composer, Giorgio Moroder – these are only some of the events prepared for the 10th edition of Krakow Film Music Festival.
