Indian Ambassador celebrates Holi in Kraków

Tsewang Namgyal paid his first official visit to Kraków to celebrate Holi, ancient Hindu festival of spring and colours, which has for several years been successfully organized by the Indo-Polish Cultural Committee at the Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury.

On 1 April, the Mayor of Kraków, Jacek Majchrowski, met with the Ambassador. The ambassador mentioned that the number of tourists visiting our city from India could increase significantly in the nearest future due to the Warsaw-New Delhi direct air service, which operate five days a week since September this year.

Tsewang Namgyal previously served as Indian Ambassador to Cuba, and has been in Poland since July 2018.
