According to data from the National Electoral Commission, Aleksander Miszalski won the second round of the mayoral election with 51.04 percent of the votes. The second candidate, Łukasz Gibała, received 48.96 percent. Overall turnout in Kraków was 45.5 percent.

The Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture is awarded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to people who are particularly distinguished in the field of artistic creation, cultural activity or protection of culture and national heritage.
